For over 20 years, our local customer has been manufacturing, producing and delivering all natural food ingredients to consumers and restaurants alike. Due to an influx in business during their busy season, they're looking to add a couple Mixing Operators to their production team.

Assignment: Contract to hire

Compensation: $19 to $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm

Pre-hire requirements: Tend to client's 7-year criminal and 5-panel drug screen.

COVID vaccination is required.

To succeed in this role, you'll be tasked with the following (but not limited to):

  • Proper set up and operations of blending machines.
  • Ensure all correct ingredients are blended and weighed and documented accordingly.
  • Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Undertake continuous training and development.
  • Adhere to the compliance of industry and company standards, Health & Safety regulations and general policies and procedures.

Skills and requirements:

  • Ability to work in a moderate activity environment.
  • 6 months' minimum experience in a manufacturing or production setting, preferably in a Food or GMP environment.
  • Team player! Can work independently with minimal to no supervision.
  • Time management skills.
  • Open communication with all levels of staff.
