Job Title: Bookkeeper/ Office Manager

Location: Hayward

Compensation: $70-75k

Job Summary:

Looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your bookkeeping and management skills? Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team for the long haul! In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our day-to-day accounting and office operations, from AP/AR and payroll to general ledger maintenance and administrative duties. If you're a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you!

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using MAS 90: A/R invoicing, 7-10/day; A/P processing, 3-4/day
  • Handle month-end: journal entries, G/L and bank reconciliations; payroll processed by Paychex
  • Manage office operations including inventory and supply ordering, mail, and reception duties.
  • Ordering supplies, light H/R (applications and new hire onboarding), answering incoming calls, customer service; process purchase orders.
  • Prepare financial reports for management review


  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping and office management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
