Bookkeeper/ Office Manager

Bookkeeper/ Office Manager needed for one of San Joaquin County's premier wineries. We are seeking an experienced and efficient Bookkeeper to be an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate is finance oriented, highly organized, dependable, and able to juggle several high-priority tasks. The focus will be on bookkeeping while supporting winery office operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with matching invoices to packing slips and statements, research discrepancies, monitor due dates, process accounts payable payments vendor invoices, prepare checks for vendor payments
  • Assist with creating and posting invoices, processes customer payments, receipts, and adjustments
  • Support outsourced payroll through inputting hours, verifying time cards with managers, and ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner
  • Assist with maintaining the accuracy & integrity of the general ledger accounts
  • Day to day support for the general manager and special projects

Requirements:

  • Experience with bookkeeping and working in accounting databases
  • Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy of work
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
