Seeking for Harvest candidates in Napa Valley

Responsibilities may include:

  • Operating pumps and filters to transfer, rack, filter and blend wines as directed.
  • Operating crusher and presses, moving hoses and equipment, obtaining lab samples and handling the shipping and receiving of tanker trucks.
  • Sanitizing all equipment and areas of cellar operation
  • Barrel work such as cleaning, gassing, emptying, filling, and topping.
  • Proper use and handling of winery additives and chemicals
  • Assisting in ensuring maintenance of wine quality
  • Following established safety regulations

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prior cellar or harvest experience
  • Demonstrated ability with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of standard cellar equipment and operating procedures
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Good attitude and a willingness to precisely follow instructions and learn new processes.
