Investment Firm located in Pleasant Hill has need for a PART-TIME (15-20 hours per week initially, with more hours added as candidate progresses in role) Client Services Associate. This role, reporting to a seasoned Investment Broker, is a great opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in the Financial Services Industry, as the role will be given exposure to a large variety service platforms. This is a very fast-paced industry, so someone who thrives in such an environment would be an especially big plus.

What type of duties/responsibilities should I expect to perform in this role?
Duties will develop as training & development continues, however from the beginning, you will likely be performing the following:

  • Heavy interaction with clients (Phone and email), attending to requests and concerns.
  • Scheduling Meetings/Appointments/Calls on behalf of the Broker
  • Complete day-to-day reporting and distribute to appropriate channels
  • Fundamental Administrative/Clerical Support functions (Answering phones, taking messages/routing calls to voicemail, drafting correspondence, coordinating mailings (statements, other details)


What is needed for this role?

  • High School Diploma/GED required, College Degree highly desired
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant Financial Services Consultant (Banking/Credit Union) or similar role
  • Strong interest in Financial Services and learning the Industry from the inside, out, open to acquiring Series 7 licensing down the road.
  • Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other, proprietary applications.
  • Immaculate accuracy and attention to detail is extremely critical in this role.
  • Highly adaptive in nature, with a strong ability to shift focus/priority on a dime, as developments occur.
  • Thrive in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing work environment, where no 2 days are alike.
  • Possess a laser-sharp focus on delivering Best in Class Service, with a strong emphasis on total Client satisfaction.
