Our client, a premium wine brand is seeking a Controller to join their team. This role is responsible for managing and developing relationships with a diverse client base through GAAP based accounting and reporting. The Controller will also be responsible for implanting accounting systems, supervising the bookkeeping team and ensuring accuracy the accuracy of financial data.


Main Functions Include:

  • Assist with implementation of budgets, financial goals/controls, KPI reports, etc.
  • Maintain GAAP compliance accounting practices
  • Maintaining/improving client accounting checklists
  • Maintain client's books using QuickBooks
  • A/P, A/R, reconciliations, monthly closes and other bookkeeping functions according to PCG procedures
  • Assist team with client intake and analyzing needs
  • Set up and Process Payroll
  • Reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Vendor Balance Detail, Customer Balance Detail, Payroll, etc.

Ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field a plus
  • Experience with winery and distribution a plus
  • Detail oriented and self-driven
