Rapidly growing accounting firm is searching for a Controller to ensure their client's financial data is up to date, accurate and communicated effectively. The ideal candidate is a self stater and has strong interpersonal and communication skills. This is a mostly remote position with occasional travel within the Sacramento area as needed.
Main Functions Include:
Monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
Forecasting and modeling
Financial Statement preparation including reconciled balance sheet accounts
Client interaction and reporting
Assist internal and external teams, ensuring deliverables are completed
Other duties and tasks assigned as needed or requested by clients
Ideal qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years related experience
Knowledge of GAAP
