Well established commercial door and gate contractor seeks a strong customer service candidate with outgoing personality to work full time in a busy office environment answering phones, helping customers and assisting other office staff, scheduling appointments with customers, and other general office duties. Required to have computer, phone and customer service experience. Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must. Must have strong attention to detail, be able to quickly learn our products and services, have strong desire and ability to grow within an organization, excel at problem solving and work well with a team.

What will the Customer Service Representative be doing?

  • Answering the phone and helping the customer right then if possible, if not, transfer to someone who can help
  • Calling to follow up on service calls, estimates and calling the day before appointments to confirm.
  • Scheduling service calls
  • Tracking, on Excel, inventory items when needed.
  • Helping with special projects as we get them

What qualifications are we seeking for this role?

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Responsible, reliable and flexible- good with dealing with demanding customers
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 2+ years recent experience as a Customer Service Rep (not retail) or equivalent
  • Customer service, answering phones, scheduling, data entry. Excel and Quickbooks experience helpful.
