Great company, located in Lafayette is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to assist them on a project, slated to last approximately 2-3 months. This position will require strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, strong problem solving skills, dependability and demonstrated priority and time management skills.

Core Duty/Function of this role:

  • Organize and convert hard-copy data/information into digital format by way of manual entry into MS Excel.
  • Ensure transfer of information is accurate and correct to ensure integrity of the data migration process
  • Communicate effectively with members of the data migration project team, calling attention to any issues/concerns pertaining to data integrity and consistency
  • Assist team/leadership with other elements of project, as requested

Essential Skills/Background Neeed for this role:

  • 6 months recent work experience in an office environment, ideally in a similar role
  • Strong Data Entry skills with accuracy
  • Basic understanding of MS Excel
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to stay focused, especially within a task that is highly repetitive
