SUMMARY: Reporting to the Business Operations Director, the Data Specialist is responsible for providing substantial Data Entry in various formats to support internal and external operations and Insurance Carrier Submissions. Candidates must have current COVID-19 vaccination to be eligible for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support Internal teams with substantial spreadsheet data entry as needed.

  2. Assist with new business implementation and submissions via Insurance Carriers Websites.

  3. Assist with various projects as needed.

  4. Other duties assigned by manager.

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

  2. Minimum of 2 years underwriting experience or equivalent is preferred.

  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  4. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail.

  5. Ability to work with internal employees and external Brokers, Employers, and Insurance Company employees.

  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications with propensity to further Excel skills.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment: Moderate noise level associated with open office work environment.
