For over 50 years, our client has been the industry leader in high congestion and traffic/infrastructure services. At present, due to a spike in business demands, are in need of an experienced Diesel Mechanic for their Fremont operations.

To succeed in this role, you'll be tasked with the following, but not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting of Diesel engines for their fleet of operations as well as various supporting equipment.
    • E.g. Involving pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, brakes and electrical diagnostics.
  • Preventative maintenance and inspection of all lines of equipment. (IMPORTANT - The incumbent would NEED to want to learn about all aspects of the equipment provided)
  • Execute quarterly Department of Transportation services.
  • Make certain that each Work Order and Purchase Orders align with the estimated costs needed for the project.
  • Perform work on all lines of Heavy Equipment machines.

Qualifications and Requirements sought for are:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Equipment maintenance field.
  • Must have working knowledge and proficiency around reading and understanding schematics, designs, blueprints, etc.
  • Aptitude for daily use of hand and power tools.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment all the while meeting time sensitive deadlines.
  • Can work independently with minimal to no supervision.
  • Pre-hire screening on 7-year background, clean MVR and Drug screen.
