Job Title: Digital Asset Management Specialist
Location: REMOTE
Compensation: $35-45
Job Length: 6- month temporary assignment
Responsabilities
- Work with Creative and Marketing team to structure a scalable Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) for incoming photography and video acquisitions from LCPA and third-party creators.
- Help develop in-house roadmap focused on streamlining operations, optimized user-flows, permissions, and maintaining best practices for DAMS.
- Help develop and document standards, policies, and procedures for use of the DAMS
- Implement taxonomy, vocabulary and metadata management strategies following industry best practices (SEO, ADA, automation, global).
- Perform ingesting, organizing, general asset maintenance and management, as well as associated troubleshooting for DAMS.
- Discover ways to enhance automation of tagging and asset ingest.
- Performing digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, such as digital archiving and asset expiration.
- Ensure incoming photography and video acquisitions meet brand and technical standards necessary to support all communication functions across the network.
- Facilitate growth of the digital asset management library and improve search efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1+ years of recent experience in digital production and DAM administration.
- Experience with asset curation, and strong knowledge of DAM, metadata taxonomy, and SEO best practices.
- Experience working in an enterprise-wide system.
- Experience coordinating with IT on building out integrations between business applications.
- Experience with Widen or similar DAM solution .
- Solid knowledge of media Digital Rights Management (DRM).
- Sound experience in data governance, standards and process development.
- Solid ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, SEO Implementation, Dropbox.
- Keen visual sense for good photography and video.
