Innovative manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA has need for a Business to Business Customer Service Representative, who will be covering an existing employee out on leave. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, full-time hours (Monday-Friday, days). Successful candidates/applicants will have at least 2 years of experience within a business to business environment and be driven to deliver knock-their-socks off service. In this role, you will receive and administer the complete process of purchase orders and communicate with appropriate internal departments for accurate order processing, to ensure total customer satisfaction. This will involve the relay of pertinent order information to customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES OF THIS ROLE ARE:

  • Receives and processes requests for lead-time, purchase orders, worder acknowledgements, invoicing to customers (as required) and order expediting.
  • Updating Quotes and Order cancellations.
  • Log and answer incoming calls
  • Constant email communication, both internally and externally
  • Ensure service information is accessible by saving documents on the company shared drive, making them readily available as required for periodic (monthly, quarterly and year-end) audits.
  • Monitor and maintain consignment inventory levels in sync for Top Distributor account
  • EDI access to retrieve purchase orders, advance shipping notices and extract forecast information.
  • Maintain and update systems to reflect customer part number and description and generate new ECR's as necessary for new part numbers.
  • Manages and communications for and coordinates monthly drop-shipments from company's factories to division customers as needed.
  • Coordinates customer weekly/monthly forecast from Top OEM accounts and weekly open order reports between Planning and customers.


SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  • Have 2 or more years of relevant Customer Service experience, on a Corporate Level (Retail experience is not applicable).
  • Be Microsoft Windows savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Type 40 wpm or better
  • Attention to detail and task-oriented, with a strong ability to identify issues and apply solutions using sound logic and reason
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with shifting focus and priorities
