Director, Reporting and Technical Accounting
San Jose, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Hands on lead for SEC/Technical accounting
  • Manage and prepare SEC filings and quarterly earnings releases
  • Collaborate with investor relations and legal on earnings and filings
  • Prepare month end reporting packages and support
  • Review global statutory reports
  • Manage external auditors with quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits
  • Perform technical research on complex accounting issues and provide accounting consultation advice to business partners
  • Evaluate and implement of new accounting guidance and write technical memos
  • Keep business partners abreast of developments in accounting and financial reporting and related policies and positions through issuance of various publications, training sessions, and other meeting forums
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Provide accounting due diligence and integration support
  • Manage international accounting, close and reporting
  • Provide support on system implementation projects
  • Own SOX controls using Auditboard and work with internal audit group to test SOX controls
  • Own BPC consolidation administration and reporting
  • Help with process improvements of policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Lead ad hoc projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA with 4+ years Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with Workiva and supporting earnings call process
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, Blackline, Auditboard preferred
  • At least 8 years relevant experience with public accounting and multinational high-tech companies
  • Experience working in a technical accounting or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of GAAP accounting principles, with a strong knowledge of SEC reporting regulations
  • Ability to manage priorities while working under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail, organized and strong work ethnics
  • Positive self-starter with high level of ethics and integrity
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
