Donation & Development Administrator
Sunnyvale, CA

The Donation & Development Administrator plays a critical role in the donor lifecycle, helping to track and manage donation processes for the organization. The role requires interaction across several departments, assuring all donor information is collected and input flawlessly into the donor database, and that all donors receive proper recognition for their gifts. This a contract assignment reporting to the Director of Research and requires the individual to be on site in Sunnyvale during business hours of Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM.

Donation & Development Administrator

· Maintain organization of individual donor files

· Assist with processing and assuring accuracy of donor gifts and on-line donations

· Enter data into donor database (LiveImpact) efficiently and accurately

· Cross-check, research, and problem solve any unmatched or missing data including when others have done entries

· Assist with preparation of acknowledgements and related correspondence including generating donor letters, mail merges, and label printing

· Provide data as needed to support the development team

· Assist with reconciliation of financial data across accounting and donor/donation tracking systems

· Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned as conditions require


· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent business experience; 2-3 years of experience desired in roles requiring attention to detail and flawless execution

· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with CRM software or database administration

· Comfortable learning new software applications

· Client and donor focus-commitment to meeting expectations and requirements of external and internal audience, establishing and maintaining effective relationships and gaining trust and respect of clients and donors

· Highly organized, multitasking ability and excellent follow up skills both internally and externally

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as appropriate
