Our South Bay waste management client is in need of a Route Auditor (aka Driver Helper) to accompany a Driver on their daily routes and account for some needed data/information.

Assignment: Contract, potential for Contract to Hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5am to 2pm (seldom OT)

Compensation: $25/hr. to $30/hr.

The Route Auditor will provide Data Entry support for Route Driver's Gilroy market and territory. The RA, "Driver Helper", will ride along with the Recycling Driver, residential or commercial stops. Following a predetermined route already punched in to the Truck's guide (technology/software in the Truck), the data entry will capture and validate account details (E.g. 1 projected bin pick up, 2 actual. No bin) in to AS400. Such details are comparing actual route activity to the paper copy of the route and noting any anomalies. Will also be responsible for entering discrepancies in the system.

Please note, this is a NON-Driving related position. One must possess good/solid data entry skills and be comfortable with sitting for long periods of time in a Recycling Truck. It can be a bumpy and loud, previous Driver or Driver Helper experience would be helpful but not required.

Dress attire: Work boots (steel toed preferred but not required). Casual/dress for cold and warm days. Pants - nothing misconstrued as rude or offensive. No rip/torn jeans.

Pre-hire requirements: 7-year criminal check. 5-panel drug screen. Hep B shot.
