Escrow Assistant

Payrate: $23 - $25/hr.

Temp to Hire

Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as needed

Summary:

An Escrow Assistant will be trained to assist his/her Escrow Officer in opening orders.

Duties:

  • Ordering payoff demands
  • Preparing escrow instructions
  • Communicating with clients and mobile home brokers regarding the particulars of the transaction
  • Scanning all loan documents into our internal documents system
  • Interfacing with the HCD (Housing and Community Development Department - Sacramento) regarding submissions and title transfer
  • Preparing checks for escrow closing
  • Reviewing closing documents
  • Communicating with clients regarding closings
  • Preparing mailings for transmissions to the HCD and mailings to clients with closing documentation.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Prior experience as an Escrow Asst./working in real estate setting.
  • HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent
