Incredible opportunity awaits for Maintenance, Electrical and Mechanically inclined professionals! Important to note - this position requires extensive travel throughout the US, Canada and New Mexico, often times 2 times per week. Professional can be remotely based anywhere in the Western US.

Our industry leading automotive (inflation products) customer is seeking a Field Support Rep. to support the technical field support efforts. In this role, you'll be working with vendors, customers and other Field Service Technicians to meet and exceed customer expectations for their maintenance and project based needs. Day to day duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Install and trigger, troubleshoot and maintain a commercial fleet of customer vehicles (E.g. big rigs, semis -GVWR of 26k-33k+ pounds)
  • Perform engineering audits. Root cause analysis and communicate with Field Service Ops Manager, Marketing, Customer Success and Field Service Techs.
  • Document results and project based outcomes into company's CRM (Salesforce).
  • Give customer base technical support and training (field based, phone or virtual/video). Promote knowledge and concerns around customer satisfaction, installations and up to date industry trends.
  • Address imperative areas of concern with the Field Service Operations Manager.

To succeed in this role, one must possess the following:

  • Working proficiency with power tools, hand tools or a tool kit.
  • Mechanically inclined. Preventative automotive maintenance.
  • Self-starter. Assertive. Motivated.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external contacts, employees, customers, etc.
  • Computer proficiency. Telematics is preferred. Desire to learn new programs and applications. (E.g. CRM database)
  • Comfortable with working in both inside and outside environments.
  • Problem solver. Detail-oriented. Organized. Prioritization based on time sensitive deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel multiple times throughout the month.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience.
  • No college degree is required, seeking hands on/real world experience! Everything else can be taught and trained!
  • GVWR of 26k-33k+ pounds is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual speaking/Spanish is helpful.
