Finance Manager
Napa

$120,000 to $145,000 annually

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day financial operations of the company. This position will be integral in the management, production, and analysis of financial reports in addition to supporting in the preparation of company budgets and forecasts. As partner to senior leadership, this role is intended to create, implement, and streamline processes to increase efficiencies and build visibility into financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting in addition to a passion for analysis, ability to utilize multiple systems to create detailed and custom reporting.

This position will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing accounting staff in the execution of all accounting processes insuring integrity of the general ledger.
  • Facilitate month end close process and the production of financial statements
  • Coordinate and oversee annual financial statements, submission of annual tax return documents to accounting firm & coordination of annual audit
  • Assist in the creation of annual budgets & forecasts in partnership with leadership team.
  • Maintain accounting system accuracy and functionality including systems conversions & upgrades, and make necessary recommendations to management for better useability.
  • Identify, create & implement automated processes to increase efficiencies in department.
  • Work cross functionally with department leaders to develop tools to drive business operations through finance & analytics.

Qualification requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field plus 2-4 years public accounting experience (highly preferred)
  • 1-2 years management experience, including hiring, training and development of staff
  • Experience implementing, streamlining, and automating accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis including the development of custom reports & ad hoc analysis, specifically in an inventory focused environment.
