Job Title: Financial Consultant

Location: Sacramento
Compensation: $40-$65 an hour

Job Summary:

A local client of ours is looking for a financial consultant to improve the accounting department's processes and procedures. This role is responsible for forecasting, budgets, and looking at different revenue lines. This is a hybrid role working 10-20 hours a week with a flexible schedule.

Job Title Responsibilities:

Review current bookkeeping/accounting processes.
Provide recommendations for improvement of bookkeeping policies.
Align financial reporting to lines of revenue.
Review/restructure general ledger accounts to support lines of revenue-based reporting.
Guidance for implementing time tracking of projects to support lines of revenue-based reporting.
Financial projections/budgeting
Establish monthly cadence.
- Time sheet reconciliation
- Gross profit by line of revenue
- Full financial statements: Cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement

Job Title Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Experience working for a large company and knowledge of IT a plus.
