Job Title: GL Accountant

Our Fremont-area client, a multi-faceted construction company is seeking a Degreed GL Accountant to join their expanding team on a direct hire basis.


Job Title Responsibilities:

· Support month-end close processes, including the preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet accounts reconciliations, financial statements, and analysis of results.

· Process daily bank reports, positive pay uploads, and monthly bank reconciliations.

· Maintain Fixed Asset System including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation entries.

· Prepare and file property, sales and use tax.

· Perform other special projects and analyses as instructed by management.

Job Title Requirements:

· 5+ years of advanced general ledger accounting experience

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

· Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

· Strong Excel skills.

The ideal candidate for this role is experienced in both detailed accounting and high-level review, has construction (or related) industry experience, and accounting system implementation experience. We are looking for someone who has strong general ledger and Excel skills and can work on site.
