Job Summary:
The Builder / Installer position is a critical position in the manufacturing process. This position requires an individual to be driven, a team player, and able to preform under limited supervision. This position handles task like, but not limited to, welding(MIG), fabricate parts, and build bodies. As well as be able to integrate / Install hydraulic, electrical and mechanical components, assembles per instructions laid out in job's order sheet or manufacturer's installation guides.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interprets installation instructions, engineering drawings, and build plans
- Develops layout and plans sequence of operations to complete job acutely and on time
- Cuts, drills, bolts, welds and fits brackets, supports, covers, and fixtures from different materials to metal framework, chassis and bodies
- Installs bodies like but not limited to, Dump trucks, flatbeds, water tanks, roll-offs, mechanics bodies, plows, chippers as well as a variety of custom built bodies
- Install hydraulic hoists, electric over hydraulic hoists, cranes, compressors , outriggers and hook loader systems
- Installs lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, wall boxes, and terminal boards
- Installs / modifies pneumatic controls as well as air lines, hydraulic systems, lines and associated components and assemblies
- Keeps works space and surrounding area neat and organized.
Requirements: - Must have Valid CA drivers license
- Must have experience operating cranes, hoists and forklifts.
- Ability to read and interpret documents suck as, shop travelers, schematics, engineering drawings, welding symbols, safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write basic instructions, draw simple diagrams and miscellaneous information.
- Ability to, as needed, effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to vendors, customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
Education Requirements:
Hight school diploma or general education degree(GED) and a minimum of 3 to 4 years related experience or a combination of education/technical school/training and 2 years of experience.
