Human Resources Administrator/Generalist

Campbell, CA

Full-time, Temporary Position

This is a temporary hands-on role offering the opportunity to pursue your HR interest across functions and geographies. As a Human Resources Administrator/Generalist at the company, you will assist the Human Resource department in the day-to-day tactical operations. The successful candidate will be an individual capable of keeping the HR department organized and make sure that proper procedures are being followed. This position demands a detail-oriented, organized, thorough, initiative-taker with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Provide general administrative support in functional areas of the human resources department which include areas such as recruitment, management of personnel records, benefits administration, payroll

Ø Assist with onboarding process and ensure completion of all new hire paperwork.

Ø Assist in updating Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records; compile reports from database as needed.

Ø Ensuring all required paperwork (new hires, changes, and terminations) is processed in a timely fashion.

Ø Maintains employee electronic files, assuring accuracy, compliance, confidentially and prompt filing.

Ø Assist with Events as needed.

Ø Assists with miscellaneous projects and HR duties as requested.

Experience & Education Requirements / Qualifications:

Ø Minimum 3 years of HR generalist level experience, preferably in a high-tech industry

Ø Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel

Ø Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects at one time

Ø Ability to make decisions and be self-directed

Ø Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written

Ø Ability to be collaborative and build positive/effective partnerships

Ø Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.

Ø Experience at handling highly confidential and sensitive issues

Ø BS in Human Resources or related field preferred

Ø Current knowledge of Human Resources areas and practices (including Federal and State employment laws, FLSA, ADA, EEO, compensation, etc.)

Ø Knowledge of HRIS is preferred (UKG a plus)
