Human Resources Generalist

$65,000 - $85,000 a year

.Job Summary: In this role, as an HR Generalist you will be assisting in running the daily functions of the Human Resource Department including but not limited to benefit administration, recruitment, HRIS management, onboarding/off boarding, training, event planning and safety.

Responsibilities :

  • First point of contact for handling direct labor population and providing support to production organization.
  • Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manger.
  • Back-up for Processing pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Back-up for maintaining HRIS data entry and other systems such as security badges and training systems.
  • Partner with internal recruiter for interviews, facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Acts as a back-up for HR Specialist to communicate daily with outside recruiting agencies regarding staffing levels and discussing any issues in regards to temporary employees.
  • Back-up for updating ERP with new hires and terminations.


  • A minimum of 3 years related experience a must
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well on-site in a team environment
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision
