Our Tri-valley area based client is looking for an Interim Accounting Manager to come on board immediately. This is a hybrid position. The Interim Accounting Manager will mainly be responsible for the general ledger, financial reporting, budgets & forecasts, and more.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Maintain the GL/related accounts and oversee sub-ledger
  • Prepare and review monthly GL reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and year end financial reports
  • Maintain consolidation, reporting and forecasts
  • Assist with annual fiscal year end audits
  • Oversee preparation of monthly capital expenditure reports and schedules for annual reports to shareholders
  • Oversee preparation of Sales & Use and Property tax filings for various states
  • Manage Annual Corporate Financial Plan and Monthly Forecast models
  • Coordinate with Financial Planning & Analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Accounting
  • 4+ years of GL experience
  • SAGE fixed assets experience
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • JD Edwards Experience (preferred)
  • Public accounting and supervisory accounting experience (preferred)
