Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Davis (Hybrid)

Compensation: $25-$35 an hour

Job Summary:

A well-established local client of ours is looking for a part time Junior Accountant on a temp to hire basis. This role is responsible for AP/AR and maintaining the general ledger. This role is 20 hours per week with flexible workdays and the ability to work in office or hybrid schedule.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare and Manage General Ledger journal entries
  • Account Analysis
  • Review invoices, code, and post to general ledger
  • Fixed Asset tracking
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting/financials
  • Ensuring accuracy of financial records
  • Bank account reconciliations

Job Title Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting role preferred
  • Knowledge of Deltek software a plus
  • Experience with project accounting a plus
