We would like for a Jr HR Generalist to join out team. This role will be responsible for administering a variety of HR functions such as company wide drug testing, onboarding, recruiting and HRIS system management. This role will report to the HR manager. We offer competitive pay and benefits with room to grow internally and learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a great resource on recruiting to include; sourcing, phone screens, scheduling interview etc.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees
  • Run the company Drug and Alcohol policy and program to include reporting finding to management, advising HR group on employees who fail the drug test and complying with company's regulations.
  • Answer employee questions regarding pre-employment screens and drug testing
  • Manage some of the HRIS functions as well as utilizing our internal job board for job postings, requisitions and pre-screening candidates
  • Conducting references and background checks.
  • Maintain new hire paperwork and other onboarding materials
  • Update, arrange and post HR materials/forms on the intranet page

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of related experience with knowledge on Department of Transportation (DOT) programs
  • Ability to write reports, business documents and procedure manuals
  • Ability to present information and answer questions from group managers and coworkers.
  • Understanding and using technology efficiently and have the passion to collaborate, learn and teach your colleagues on developments
  • Must have experience with DOT and compliance
  • Must be able to work onsite
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
