We are presently seeking candidates for a Machine Shop Operator I position available in Kent, WA.

Job Description:

Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) equipment used in the production of the company's product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line
  • Works from drawings/process sheets or written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks
  • Performs hand work to finish product; to include removing burrs, sharp edges, and/or scale from work piece(s).
  • Checks and inspects operation results
  • Assist in other areas to maintain timeliness of projects
  • Keep work area and shop clean and organized; maintain a safe work environment

Job requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with manufacturing machinery
