Position Title: Maintenance Engineering Technician

Pay Range: $30 - $41/HR depending on experience

Assignment: 6 months

Location: Hercules, CA

Food, beverage filling, Bio-Tech, medical device, or pharmaceutical background with experience in automation, calibration, electrical, and mechanical experiences required

Requirements:

- High school Diploma or equivalent

- electrical and/or mechanical experience
- experience with filling lines, in food or beverage plants

- minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience with building automation systems (BAS) (Siemens APOGE or Assent Compass), monitoring systems (Lab Watch or Rees), and programmable logic (PLC)

- experience with clean, dry air (CDA) and nitrogen, chilled water, cooling water, heating hot water, RODI water, steam, pure steam, refrigeration system, and wastewater and exhaust treatment systems


Maintenance Engineering Technician
Job Duties:
- performs maintenance, calibration, and service repairs on equipment used in production or manufacturing processes and/or facilities.
- installs equipment or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
- responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment systems in manufacturing control rooms at multiple sites
- assures that equipment and systems are being maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner and that downtime is reduced to a minimum by the anticipation of necessary repairs.

- complete, accurate, legible, and contemporaneous record-keeping is essential, and candidates with the ability to leverage past systems experience to benefit and improve equipment and systems performance are highly sought after for this role.
- will encounter and analyze non-routine to moderately complex problems and resolve those problems by applying and interpreting data.
- applies corrective actions to ensure processes and equipment are maintained to meet production, quality, and compliance requirements.

- reports to the Sr. Facilities Engineer and will support audits and inspections by representing the services and operations of systems supported.
