Sterilization provider for varying industries has a Maintenance Technician need for an AM shift. If you're a Maintenance/Preventative Technician with previous Manufacturing environment experience who's seeking a stable, growth-oriented role then read on and apply today!

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. (IMPORTANT - Rare needs for on-call services. If and only when Machine Operators are unable to fix/troubleshoot any maintenance/machinery issues is when they'll contact the MT).


Assignment is contract to hire.


Basics of the role and day to day duties…

  • Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and assist with daily routine preventative maintenance tasks for the processing equipment on-site. Diagnose any/all mechanical failures, report/recommend call to action items and carry out the necessary repairs to reinstate operational status…meeting any time sensitive deadlines to limit downtime.
  • Compile data, determine relevant and valid solutions by recommending a specific course of action.
  • If material is not on-site, identify the required material to complete the task, obtain pricing info., process/complete a PO request and seek the Supervisor's approval for processing.
  • Engage and work with all levels of Operational and Maintenance staff to meet objectives.
  • Adhere to all industry and company safety programs.

Qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • High school or GED minimum education, vocational education if other.
  • Ability to read, write and follow electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, etc. in English.
  • Deductive reasoning, mathematical skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Maintenance role, strongly preferred in a professing or manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge base working proficiency in 480-volt 3 Phase Power; Purchase Orders; ability to interpret electrical diagrams; Electric Motor Controls; Troubleshoot and Repair mechanical systems; Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
