Winery Maintenance Technician

Sonoma, Ca

$30-35/hr (annually $62,500-$72,800 DOE) with full Benefits

Tasks involve complex troubleshooting, installation, repair, modification, servicing and general maintenance operations for both Facilities and winery Production.

Experience Needed

  • At lease 2-3yrs solid previous experience with bottling line, winery equipment and facilities maintenance required
  • Experience in trades of electrical, plumbing, welding, refrigeration, and PLC control Systems.
  • Requires knowledge of facilities design, construction, administration, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with good skills in reading, writing and math.
  • Spanish not required but preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal facility regulations and food safety standards
  • Good organizational skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of existing and new equipment and systems to ensure efficient operation of the winery.
  • Perform repairs on production lines and facilities as needed.
  • Abide by Standard Operating Procedures & Safety Protocols.
  • Follow work orders and keep maintenance database up to date.
  • Assist with facility systems, including heating, cooling, glycol, electrical and plumbing.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and machinery and perform repairs.
  • Recommends measures to improve safety, performance, sustainability, efficiency and quality of all equipment
