Manufacturing / Assembly Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor's focus is mainly on production and implementation of the cycles related to manufacturing processes. Must understand the business and technical vision of the company, and assist in the translation of the business/customer needs into products that support that business vision.


  • Facilitate overall planning, resource coordination, scheduling, and budgeting of manufacturing functions.
  • Report on, develop and coordinate manufacturing schedules.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, sales and marketing managers and personnel to develop complete project plans related to the manufacturing of new and current products
  • Oversee the documentation of all production process, operation and build procedures.
  • Integrate production schedules and resource requirements so that personnel and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Oversee the efficiency and completeness of inventory related to the manufacturing and maintenance of the company's product line.
  • Responsible for maintaining minimum inventory levels, works closely with purchasing to accomplish just in time inventory.
  • Track and report performance, progress of production schedules and commitments on a weekly basis.
  • Identify and report relevant issues and delays to management, engineering and technical personnel.
  • Facilitate team communication and efforts.
  • Manage the manufacturing team.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, leading and controlling.
  • Strong electrical / mechanical skills preferred.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a limited timeframe.
  • Ability to identify and minimize future project obstacles as necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of business management principles.
