Marketing Associate - Zero emissions incentive programs.

The Marketing Incentives Associate position will assist marketing, focused on identifying zero-emission off-road equipment incentive programs available for customers, businesses, and government agencies and backup to the Sales Associate. The position will assist in developing and administering the incentives strategy.

This role will report to the Director, Sales Operations and Marketing. The role will work closely with the sales and parent company team to be the main point of administering incentives programs - and acts as backup for sales associate direct sales and dealer sales administration.

Location: Santa Rosa

Compensation: $60-75K plus terrific benefits: 3 weeks' vacation, 7 sick days, holidays, 80% paid medical and dental for you and your dependents, 401K with a 4% match and more.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist Director in defining government incentives plan (e.g. CORE program, California Energy Commission, CARB, CalCAN, BAAQMD, the VW Zero-Emission Freight and Marine Program, and other state, federal and local clean energy, electric vehicle, agriculture and related programs).
  • Assist in the development of incentives pipeline with staff and government agencies.
  • Assist in developing incentives programs - via various state & federal programs.
  • Backup to sales associate on management including onboarding of dealers and customers.
  • Backup to sales associate re customer service contact for dealers and direct customers.
  • Converse with dealers, customers and employees re incentives via phone and email.
  • Track & analyze various incentives activities and projects in Excel, Salesforce & inhouse systems.
  • Coordinate training programs staff on incentives.
  • Generate analysis and reports for incentive activities
  • Develop and revise process and procedures in all work areas.
  • Multitask in a start up to fast-paced office environment
  • Other items as assigned by Director.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business or sales and marketing, with concentration in PR or writing a plus.
  • Product knowledge and or experience in farm equipment, electric vehicles, heavy equipment, outdoor power or related field is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, and ability to converse with government agencies/staffs.
  • Ability to plan and execute projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong process-oriented skills leveraging systems, data and business process
  • Possess strategic thought leadership with ability to look ahead and respond proactively.
  • Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Familiarity with Office 365 is a plus.
  • Must speak and write fluent English.
