Nelson Connects is immediately hiring a Marketing Communications Coordinator for a local leading organization in Santa Rosa. The ideal candidate will have experience juggling multiple projects while maintaining excellent communication. The position directly interfaces with our media partners to ensure ongoing brand exposure for our products. The Marketing Communications Coordinator supplies advertising material and content according to well-prepared media schedules, assisting with development or repurposing of marketing content, which adhere to brand quality guidelines.

As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to Corporate Identity guidelines, providing last check of all published marketing material according to media specifications.
  • Effectively coordinates and executes material insertions for traditional print media, as well as digital trade media and social platforms.
  • Administers advertising media plan insertion orders, working closely with Marketing Communications Specialist and VP of marketing to prepare for submission deadlines.
  • Executes digital publication plan for Newsroom and Events.
  • Administers LinkedIn publication plan and executes postings; performs monthly KPI reporting.
  • Administers editorial schedule and actively pursues editorial opportunities using available content. Performs monthly KPI reporting.
  • Assists with HubSpot campaigns administration and performance tracking.
  • Executes NPIs including price lists, images, training, and cover mail. Deploys to sales partners.
  • Identifies and maintains accurate listings in available industry trade publications and directories, print and online.
  • Attends training, seminars and classes as required.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment, practices workplace safety, and notifies management of any unsafe conditions.

Marketing Communications Coordinator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphics design, marketing communications or business administration.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions that support the marketing team.
  • Previous B2B marketing experience or background in electronic component business is ideal.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems required.
  • Experience with InDesign or related graphics software desired.
  • Experience in trade show coordination a plus.
  • High degree of working knowledge about IT related hardware, software, digitalization, databases and analytics.

For this role, the hours are:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay for this position is $50k - $60k DOE
