Marketing Specialist - Zero Emission Equipment | Tractor and Outdoor Power Equipment

Location: Northern California Preferred

The Marketing Specialist position will work assisting in marketing budget, planning, coordinating with the agency on branding, positioning, messaging, marketing communications, digital and social media management at dealer level and company level and more assisting new dealer and current dealer marketing support and performance and resolutions to queries and issues. The position will assist in tracking marketing budget, metrics, approvals, and cost management including events and shows.

This role will report to the Director, Sales Operations and Marketing and work closely with Director Communications. The role will also work closely with the regional sales directors and business managers and sales team to be the main point of contact for dealers for marketing and backup for sales as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver on organizational marketing strategy, processes and key performance indicators that will provide the company with a best-in-class sales and marketing organization.
  • Coordinate with marketing agencies assisting positioning, messaging, and marketing communications and digital marketing plans including budget management.
  • Coordinate and work closely with parent company on marketing alignment, social media management and events / shows at corporate and subsidiary level.
  • Coordinate various events and shows.
  • Current dealer and new dealer marketing budget management including onboarding of dealers using dealer marketing coop and funds.
  • Coordinate training programs for new dealers and current process instruction.
  • Converse with dealers, sales and marketing employees via phone and email.
  • Work with Business Accounting and Systems to analyze issues with daily sales transactions.
  • Track & analyze various activities and projects in Excel, Salesforce & inhouse systems.
  • Generate analysis and reports for sales & marketing.
  • Develop and revise process and procedures in all work areas.
  • Multitask in a start up to fast-paced office environment

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

  • Product, brand marketing at company and retail level preferred.
  • Marketing communications experience a plus…
  • Advanced marketing analytical and reporting knowledge/experience in farm equipment, heavy equipment, outdoor power or related field a plus.
  • Strong marketing and communication skills, and ability to converse with both dealers and agencies
  • Ability to plan and execute projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong process-oriented skills leveraging systems, data and business process to drive sustainable operational improvements.
  • Possess strategic thought leadership with ability to look ahead and respond proactively.
  • Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills with the ability to build trust and credibility globally which includes winning approval from various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Familiarity with Office 365 is a plus.
  • Must speak and write fluent English.
