Mechanic / Service Technician
Well-respected Sonoma County Employer with a strong client base and a reputation for excellence serving the agriculture industry is looking for a Mechanic inclined individual to their technician team. Agriculture experience is not necessary, will train!
Compensation: Base to $30-40 per hour plus performance bonuses and an opportunity to work for an industry leader offering 401K, PTO, training and excellent benefits!
Summary:
Independently performs advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on agriculture related equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment
- Conducts or supports customer needs.
- Maintains current knowledge of equipment and competitive products
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties
- May perform diagnosis and repair in the field
- Participation in on-call program
- Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technician's specialty
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
