In this Customer Service/Operations Administration role, you'll be supporting a small team of Sales and Operations personnel by coordinating and tracing shipments and ensuring shipment appointments are on-time and met. Consider it an air-traffic controller of the logistics world! You'll provide administrative and clerical support with dual monitor set-ups, use of MS Office and G-Suite platforms to provide updates both internally and externally with customers, drivers and billing departments.

Day to day tasks are but not limited to:

  • Track/Trace shipment orders and drivers through a Total Management System software database.
  • Gather data to maintain accurate logs and documentation ensuring company and industry compliance, limiting additional expenses and possible fines due to delays.
  • Provide a professional B2B experience with a heavy phone and email correspondence volume.
  • Accurately report on assigned projects, worksheets and internal audits/records.
  • Problem and conflict resolution

To succeed in this role, seeking the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. Professional and personable soft skills are a must! If you don't like being on the phone or engaging with customers, this is NOT the role for you.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a MUST. Task oriented. Prioritization skills with a strong sense of urgency at all times.
  • Daily attendance and punctuality.
  • GED/Adult School/High School Diploma.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and G-Suite.
