Nelson Connects is immediately hiring Packaging Line Workers for a local, family-owned organization Hayward that is dedicated to bringing authentic cuisine to the dinner table.
This position is responsible for working the production line and will support new packaging innovations and processes.

Pay is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour as follows:

Light Lifters - AM shift pay is $16.00 and PM shift pay is $16.50

Heavy Lifters - AM shift pay is $16.50 and PM shift pay is $17.00

As a Packaging Line Workers, you will:

  • Work as direct labor on packaging line.
  • Executes assigned tasks within established schedule.
  • Safely operate machinery.
  • Help to ensure production line is running efficiently.
  • Follow all procedures to ensure proper set up of equipment when needed.
  • Provide troubleshooting with equipment when needed.
  • Ensure final packaging of product meets quality specs.
  • Record information into logs.
  • Reconcile production results of finished goods.

Packaging Line Workers candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Have mechanical aptitude.
  • Good housekeeping skills and knowledge of GMP's.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Hiring is dependent on client's pre-employment screening which includes background, drug and motor vehicle report (if duties involve MHE or Forklift use).

Pay is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour as follows:

Light Lifters - AM shift pay is $16.00 and PM shift pay is $16.50

Heavy Lifters - AM shift pay is $16.50 and PM shift pay is $17.00
