Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Rancho Cordova
Compensation: $27-$30/hour

Job Summary:

A local client of ours is looking for a Payroll Administrator on a temp to hire basis. This role is responsible for executing full cycle payroll and working with HR and the benefits department. This is role is fully onsite (Mon-Fri).

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Maintain and audit payroll records
  • Responds to employee's questions regarding paychecks and W2 forms
  • Verify and compile payroll reports with payroll reps and controllers
  • Resolve questions and problems associated with payroll
  • Manage workflow data from HR, new hires, rehires, terminations, pay changes, promotions, and position changes
  • Process leaves of absence, including coordinating vacation and sick hours
  • Update vacation and sick balances in accounting software
  • Process day of paychecks
  • Set up, process and report wage garnishments.
  • Serve as backup to payroll tax accountant

Job Title Requirements:

  • Associates degree or 3-5 years of payroll experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
