Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Rancho Cordova
Compensation: $25-30/ hr

Job Summary:

A local, family-owned building products company is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in multi-state payroll.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and audits payroll runs
  • Update sick and vacation times in software application
  • Assists managers on various projects and serves as back up to Payroll Tax Accountant
  • Manages workflow data from new hires and terminations along with pay raises and promotions
  • Effectively communicates with HR to ensure hours for employees are entered and approved in a timely manner prior to processing payroll
  • Answers emails and phone calls
  • Other duties may be assigned

Job Title Requirements:

  • Associate degree or 3-5 years of payroll experience
  • Familiarity with wage laws and payroll regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word and Outlook
