Our client located in San Mateo is currently seeking a Payroll Associate. We are seeking a candidate with 2-3 years payroll experience and is familiar with union payroll. If you are looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Essential Functions

  • Input data from daily time sheets, production records or individual time cards to computerized payroll system.
  • Verifies timecard accuracy, correct cost codes and completeness.
  • Responsible for verifying proper approval for timecards and all time worked.
  • Responsible for balancing payroll runs, uploading payroll to a central location on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for producing manual checks for onsite reasons (i.e. layoff, termination, etc.).
  • Contact various department supervisors for any missed time worked.
  • Verify hours worked and compliance for individual trades as per union agreements.
  • Responsible for submitting certified payroll.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Business Manager.
