Payroll Manager

A local, family-owned building products company is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee their Payroll Department.


Main Functions Include:

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and developing employees in the Payroll Department
  • Assist with reviewing and processing payroll
  • Delegate payroll duties to appropriate staff
  • Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions
  • Ensure company policies and governmental regulations are being followed as they relate to payroll functions
  • Evaluate and improve current payroll procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
