Our East Bay Client is looking for a well-rounded Payroll/AP Specialist to bring on board immediately for a Temp to Hire basis. The candidate will primarily be responsible for AP, payroll, and some fixed assets/general ledger.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Process or payroll on a bi-weekly basis, 170+ employees exempt and non-exempt

  • Coordinate with Pricing Team

  • Ensure collaboration with Operations Department

  • Monitor invoice aging repost and ensure collection activities are correct

  • Verify the accuracy of quotes and pricing in connection with monthly services

  • Analyze and process vendor and product billings in a timely manner

  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements to ensure all invoices and credit memos have been processed

  • Verify timesheets for billable hours on work tickets

  • Run and archive standard payroll report

  • Assist with interactions and processes between Company and insurance providers

  • Maintain Sales Tax rate tables and ensure sales tax report is filed on a monthly basis

  • Ensure annual insurance, accurate W9 record, and issue 1099s annually

  • Fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Accounting experience

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and oral)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
