Our company is currently seeking ?a Payroll/AP Specialist to join our team! This individual must have experience in either property management or senior housing. This is a direct-hire opportunity that is on-site daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate submission of payroll
  • Work closely with HR on new hires, benefit enrollments, separations and other employee changes that require processing via payroll system
  • Process 401(k) contributions and related administration
  • Track, review, prepare, and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the purchase orders and invoices for payment
  • Reconcile credit card transactions semi-monthly
  • Consult with offsite managers regarding questions on payments, account coding, and other AP items
  • GL Accounting: Assistance with general ledger entries, preparation of accounting worksheets, preparing annual budgets

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Payroll/AP experience
  • Associates degree in accounting or business or a combination of education and experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Property management or senior housing industry background
  • GL accounting knowledge and experience
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
