Job Title: Payroll/HR Specialist

Location: Sacramento
Compensation: $25-$30 an hour

Job Summary:

Our client, a well-established property management company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for directly managing the payroll process for 100+ employees. This position will also work as a support role to human resources. Experience with ADP Workforce Now software in the last year in required for this role.

Job Title Responsibilities:

· Assist with proper tracking for FMLA and other leave related requests

· Ensure timecards are accurate with vacation and company benefits

· Generate and process termination checks as needed

· Process payroll and provide reports to Management

· Create and post job openings on various sites

· Conduct phone screenings, schedule interviews and manage reference and background checks

· Create personnel files for new hires and onboarding documents

· Process and maintain accuracy of employee benefits elections and perform audits as needed

Job Title Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree or 2-5 years of relevant experience in payroll or human resources

· Firm understanding of labor laws and payroll

· Experience with ADP Workforce is required
