Job Summary:
Established non-profit is looking for a long term temporary Payroll Specialist to join their team. There will be ad hoc accounting as needed to complete the project. Light payroll experience required.
Job Title Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees, both exempt and non-exempt
- Respond to email inquiries
- Process employee payroll deductions (403(b), garnishments, parking permits, health benefits)
- Research inquiries regarding payroll transactions
- Complete wage verification reports
- Data entry of payroll data to balance payroll to the general ledger
- Answer phones
Job Title Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience working in accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Payroll processing experience
