Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Fremont
Compensation: $80-$85k

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This position will be responsible for the company's payroll functions.

Job Title Responsibilities:
* Review and reconcile weekly payroll.
* Process weekly payroll for exempt, non-exempt, and union employees.
* Process manual checks when needed.
* Timely processing of payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and union wages and deductions.
* Process year-end reporting.
* Maintain payroll processing systems.
* Maintain accurate records and payroll transactions.
* Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports and payments.
* Assist with company audits.
* Other duties as needed.

Job Title Requirements:
* Bachelor's in business or at minimum an AA degree or Payroll Certification preferred.
* Must have Union and Certified Payroll experience.
* Construction industry experience.
* Proficient with MS Office and payroll software.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
