Our San Francisco based Financial Services client has an urgent need for a strong Payroll candidate with Paylocity experience to come on board for at least 6+ months - fully remote! The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing a multi-state payroll for 155 employees. Experience with Paylocity is required. The ideal candidate will be a team player, reliable and system savvy.

Duties:

  • Process a multi-state payroll for 150+ employees via Paylocity
  • Maintain employee data in payroll system including new hires, changes, terminations, etc.
  • Review timesheets for approval and accuracy
  • Maintain accruals for vacation, sick leave, and personal time accruals
  • Assist with employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits and taxes
  • Process manual termination and vacation payout checks
  • Prepare and analyze various payroll reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience with Paylocity is required
  • Experience with multi-state payroll
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
