Located in the South San Francisco market, our client is on a mission to curb and halt vision loss and improve eyesight! As a leading medical technology company, they're in need of a couple Process Development Techs to help augment their engineering and technical departments.

In this growth oriented contract to hire role, you'll be tasked with the following but not limited to:

  • Work closely with engineers and technical leads to support products from conception to launch.
  • Receive Inspection of components and sub-assemblies received from suppliers.
  • Determine and perform necessary testing on components and sub-assemblies received from suppliers.
  • Execute experiments by engineering and technical personnel and document results of those (E.g. root cause analysis, write reports).
  • Clean and maintain lab equipment, recalibration of equipment when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Self-motivator, extremely organized and detail oriented with an ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and like to participate in multiple projects.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Associates degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology OR Bachelor's degree in biology or related science preferred.
  • Minimum of 1+ year experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically on medical-related development projects, ideally medical device or pharma.

Flexible schedule, 9am to 6pm to start -6:30am/7am/8am start thereafter.

Assignment: Contract to hire
