IMPORTANT - San Leandro facility to move/transition to a new Hayward facility mid/late June.
Fantastic Production Lead opportunity available for a leading manufacturer of tire inflation options for the trucking industry! Due to an internal promotion, we're looking to partner with a teammate to come in and produce, oversee and manage a team of 5-10 associates.
While reporting to the Facility Manager, most of the day to day duties are but not limited to:
- Meet daily production numbers.
- Transfer parts to multiple stations.
- Report production issues.
- Schedule daily production and operators.
- Organize the production floor.
- Train operators to specific stations.
- Communicate production issues.
- Assemble, test and package products.
- Generate daily production orders.
To succeed in this role, we're looking for the following requirements, qualifications and experiences:
- Computer skills: Microsoft office (Excel & Word). Google/G-Suite for email.
- Team leader
- Experience in production assembly/test
- Organization
- Motivate and train others
- Excellent in troubleshooting
- At least 2 year in production experience
- Good communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) is helpful but not required.
- ERP system
- Arena PLM
- Understand planning and inventory system
Assignment: Contract to hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (OT potential)
Compensation: $18-$19 per hour
