Job Title: Direct Sales Associate
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Rate: $25/hr. + $50 (per full complete sale commision).

Position Overview:

  • The Field Sales Associate is responsible for door-to-door sales and migration activities within an assigned territory.
  • Selling the appropriate mix of products using bundled solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and a drive to succeed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both internal and external.

· Job Functions:

  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer's needs, recommend a solution based on those needs.
  • Become proficient in systems and product offers for sales quoting and ordering.
  • Become an expert in the competitive environment and be able to communicate regarding competitive offerings while effectively positioning CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber products as the best technology choice for prospects/customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both internal and external.
  • Maintain and improve speed, accuracy, and quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines provided by Lumen's compliance organization.
  • Daily/weekly performance readouts and accurate documentation of sales activities are required.
  • Manage mileage and expense reports.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license, adequate automobile insurance coverage, and appropriate working vehicle for transportation

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) or equivalent education with typically 1+ years' sales experience
  • 1+ years Consumer Direct Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to execute with a high level of ethics and integrity in a challenging and ever-changing environment
  • Self-motivated and highly disciplined
  • Ability to work independently
  • Have the positive attitude, energy and determination required to translate daily customer interactions into new sales
  • Possess a strong knowledge to overcome customer objections
  • Required to work varying hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
